Review: Brought coffe back into my life! - This coffee is a life changer. I gave up on coffee a year ago because the acid in it was making me miserable and was giving me a sour stomach, acid reflux, and even headaches. I don't know why so many of my fellow Americans think that for a coffee roast to be strong, it must be able to strip paint off of wood and metal. Everything on the market was either too dark and over-burned or as weak as dishwater. Serendipitously, I saw a video about Vietnamese coffee and how it's roasted and thought I'd take a chance because I really missed coffee, especially iced coffee in the summer. This roaster (Nguyen) and, more specifically, this blend/roast (Loyalty) is superb. It's strong but very smooth and not acidic at all. It is, in my opinion, how coffee is meant to be. I can't recommend it enough, especially if you're having problems with acidity. It's not the cheapest coffee out there so if you're the kind of person who drinks ten cups a day, this might be a budget-breaker (on the other hand, if you drink that much coffee, you might need a low-acid coffee more than anyone else) but for someone like me, who drinks coffee less frequently, it's totally worth the expenditure. Moreover, I like supporting smaller, local businesses when possible so I don't mind paying a little more and prefer giving my money to them than to the coffee kings of Seattle.
Review: Smooth taste, love it - The best tasting . I was having a hard time with tolerating coffee but Nguyen is awesome. I can drink coffee again. And the taste is not bitter in the slightest. I love it.

A: Yes -- the title says "Ground Coffee"

**Q: What is the grind of this coffee? Can i make cold brew out of this?**
A: I am %100 not a pro on the subject but typically cold brew is made from a good strong coffee roast of any sort. This brew definitely has a little bit of a scotch essence to it. In my personal opinion cold brews made with alcoholic roast make some of the best cold brew flavors. I would definitely recommend using this roast for your cold brew makings.

**Q: How many calories are in one cup of coffee?**
A: There are less than 5 calories in a cup of coffee. If you add milk or sugar then that another question.

**Q: How many brews can I get out of a bag?**
A: If you're using 2 tablespoons per cup (6 ounces), you can get 24.28 brews! 1 bag is 340 grams, and 1 tablespoon is about 7 grams. Hope that helps!

This coffee is a life changer. I gave up on coffee a year ago because the acid in it was making me miserable and was giving me a sour stomach, acid reflux, and even headaches. I don't know why so many of my fellow Americans think that for a coffee roast to be strong, it must be able to strip paint off of wood and metal. Everything on the market was either too dark and over-burned or as weak as dishwater. Serendipitously, I saw a video about Vietnamese coffee and how it's roasted and thought I'd take a chance because I really missed coffee, especially iced coffee in the summer. This roaster (Nguyen) and, more specifically, this blend/roast (Loyalty) is superb. It's strong but very smooth and not acidic at all. It is, in my opinion, how coffee is meant to be. I can't recommend it enough, especially if you're having problems with acidity. I placed the package of this coffee, unopened for the night on my night stand. Woke up to the sweet scent of Nguyen Loyalty….so inviting!!! Now I’m sitting here slowly sipping my first experience of Vietnamese Coffee. Now, I’m not a fan of sweetened coffee but having a can of sweetened condensed milk on hand, I had to see what it is all about. Added @1Tps to my mug . WOW! Is all u can say! Very delicious! But for my pallet I think a measure of unsweet cream would be better. Otherwise, an amazing experience!!
