It is an effective mask though. **Q: Does this contain PVA?** A: Hello, One of the ingredients is PVA **Q: Will this hurt?** A: Not if you dermaplane first. I dermaplane, and this didn't hurt a bit. It hurts because it's ripping your hair out. **Q: Is the collagen animal based? It says vegan but I would like to be sure** A: You don't really have a way to tell if it is vegan or not because you only know what they tell you. What I can say is that it is a mask that works very well. It doesn't pull as hard as the black masks but it is much better then the rubber feeling masks. The tube is a good size. It does take longer to completely dry but I think most masks take longer. I have given this as a gift for no reason to friends and family and everyone likes it. It’s a pretty color and looks rich putting it on. Make sure your hair is pulled back correctly so it doesn’t get stuck in it. You need tp put a thin to medium coat on. This obviously is something that you will figure out as you go. So wait till it dries. You might want to take a picture of your face because it looks kinda sci-fi ish, like rose gold shiny. There’s no exact time, but your skin will feel slightly tight, no damp spots. Then peel away gently! I did it yesterday and today. I actually have to say, mmm I like touching my smoother skin!
