I tend to use it with carrots or other foods with fairly low moisture content just to make sure they arent dehydrating. If im feeding tangerine slices i avoid this simply because i am not confident that these are super healthy for the roaches to consume (because what goes into the roaches eventually goes into the lizard) i also noticed that when i offer this my roaches smell a little worse than normal.
