## Description

Our new high-tech plant milk machine is equipped with the patented PGF (precision grinding funnel). The PGF is designed to pull solid ingredients and particles from the bottom of the pan directly to the blades for finer grinding. This efficient grinding mechanism significantly reduces the energy that a traditional blender would lose due to liquid splashes and noise generation. PGF allows for a super fine grind, which best extracts nutrients from the most nutritious and tasty plant milks. The SoyaJoy G5 is equipped with a temperature sensor, water level sensor and boil sensor for precise and optimal control of the heating process. Measure the initial temperature of the ingredients and calculate the heating power to an optimal temperature before you start grinding. The SoyaJoy G5 then reduces heat to prevent bottom burns and boil. Soy milk manufacturers without temperature sensors will simply heat the contents to a boil, and then mix in just two steps. Our optimal process involves more than a number of carefully designed steps to follow the ideal process of making high quality soy milk. The SoyaJoy G5 has a dedicated "soaked beans" feature to make the best and most nutritious soy milk. When soybeans are soaked, they absorb water and change at the cellular level, which allows for better nutrient extraction and easier grinding. However, using a "dry beans" function on unnecessarily soaked beans overcooks the beans before grinding, resulting in a more yellowish and milder product. To avoid this, our separate "soaked beans" process grinds the beans before they are fully cooked, which produces the ideal creamy white soy milk, as traditional recipes do. US power supply only. 60Hz, 110V

Review: Easy to Clean, Easy to Use, Very fine Okara, Saves lots of time - I have now made 6 batches of soymilk using this product. I have made soymilk the "old-fashioned" way (soak, blend, heat, squeeze) ever since I began making plant milks. I had no idea what having a soymilk maker would do for me in terms of saving my time and helping my cleanup. This is as simple as soaking the soybeans, rinsing and draining the soak water (the way you would anyway), putting the beans into the SoyaJoy and adding water up to the very easy-to-see line inside the carafe, and plugging it in. In 36 minutes, the maker heats and blends the beans and leaves me with the last step of pouring it into the milk bag and straining. I am no longer cleaning up my blender and standing at the stove stirring for 20-25 minutes. That alone is worth the price to me. Some additional thoughts: - when the batch is done, the maker will beep for a minute and then keep the milk warm for an hour. If you unplug and remove the top and immediately run just the stainless steel shaft (NOT the top where the electronics are) under hot water at the faucet, you will save yourself some cleanup of the ring that forms around the blender part at the top level of the milk. Same with the stem that holds the blades to the bottom. If you do leave it for the hour, I still suggest removing the top and immediately running it under the hot tap, but be prepared to use a dishcloth to remove what has dried to the shaft and blade stem underneath. - the okara (pulp) left over is some of the finest ground I have ever seen, and I have a high-speed blender. It is fine enough to use as is as additions to baked goods, child's playdough, or for drying. If you are into reusing the okara, you will be very pleased with the results; - the noise of the unit reminds me of an in-door icemaker/water dispenser in older refrigerators. It certainly is much quieter than a food processor or blender. It is not a constant noise, but when the unit is on, I recommend not being on a Zoom call in the same room. That being said, if I was, I would still be able to hear everything on the call very well; - If the machine has too many soybeans, it will put out an error code. Keep the manual handy to check if this is the one, and remove the excess beans and let the stem/top cool a bit before putting it back on, or else the cycle will take 49 minutes; - I have not yet had success with it in making firm tofu. I bought the SoyaJoy kit with the press and nigari, but I am obviously missing something with measurements (which is how I found out about the error code I listed above). So glad I bought this!
Review: Milks on hand always!! - An amazing product. Have saved so much money making my own soy and nut milks. I fortify them with calcium carbonate powder. Thisbmachine is so easy to clean and learn how to use. No complicated directions. Love it!!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: sorry, 1 cup means American regular cup?**
A: Please note this answer is relating to another question where 1 cup is mentioned to that specific question. In the user manual, 1 cup means the measurement cup comes with the machine, which is 1/2 regular American standard cup.

**Q: I want make very rich soy milk . what is the maximum cup of soybeans at one time in 1.6 liter capacity?**
A: We label the capacity very conservatively at 1.6 L while others could have label it 1.7 L or even stretch it to 1.8 L or higher. I have tried 1.8 L with no problems at all. Our engineers want to make sure even if the machine is used in the city of highest elevation (the high the elevation, the easier to boil over), it will make 1.6 L without any problems. So please take a note when compare with other machines label larger capacity.

**Q: Can I make oat milk from oat groats?**
A: Yes, you can. Please use the "Raw Milk" function to make oat milk with the SoyaJoy G5.

**Q: Is the white part of the sensor plastic? Does hot food touches it?**
A: The white part of the sensor is food grade plastic, even though that is above the milk level in the pot.
