Review: Absolutely incredible speakers! - TL;DR These speakers get very loud and have great clarity, even without an amplifier. Could not be happier with these. Mounting was a little tricky due to the way the speaker holes are in my '04 Expedition, but not any fault of the speakers. Once I snipped the side tabs off, they fit great. To be expected, the bass isn't the strongest (I installed a subwoofer regardless, so it didn't matter to me), but for 5x7s they can actually handle some decently low notes when playing rap, and have a very nice punch when playing metal/rock. Highs are very crisp and sharp which I love, and they are crystal clear; the "unparalleled clarity" really isn't an understatement. Mids feel a *little* strong for my liking at times, but not nearly enough to be annoying or overbearing. A nice touch is that they come with two sets of wires if you need them (which some higher end brands don't even include), along with a little decorative sticker. For the price, you genuinely cannot beat these speakers. Absolutely recommend.

TL;DR These speakers get very loud and have great clarity, even without an amplifier. Could not be happier with these. Mounting was a little tricky due to the way the speaker holes are in my '04 Expedition, but not any fault of the speakers. Once I snipped the side tabs off, they fit great.
