When powered via an external amp speakers can be turned up but with appropriate power giving loud and clear sound. Head unit alone will need to be turned up towards max to achieve loudness but with that again comes distortion and poor sound quality at higher volumes **Q: Is it necessary a crossover to use them?** A: No tweeter has in line filter **Q: Will they fit 2021 Dodge Challenger ?** A: I do not see why they wouldn't. The fit good In my 300c Pretty good set up I just got a bad set. Probably rare for alpine.
