There's still strategy to be had but it disrupts the stronger players tactics so that the others get more of a chance and the addition of princesses that can boot knights out, the protective fairy and magic portals for claiming unclaimed features all make this a wonderful twist on a great game. Go for it!

A: Yes this set works with the old editions. The only difference is the new artwork but it doesn't clash to bad with the older edition.

A: There are 30 new land tiles including Monestary in city, Tunnel, Volcano, Dragon, Princess, Magic Portal.

A: This is the classical fantasy based expansion.  Included are the dragon, the fairy, and 30 new tiles: magic portals (allow you to place a meeple on a previously-placed tile), princess tiles (allows you to remove a knight from a city), volcanoes (where the dragon sits), and dragon tiles (triggers the dragon to move around and eat meeples).
