The texture is lightweight and creamy — not greasy, not heavy — and it spreads easily through the hair. The scent is mild and clean, nothing overpowering.It gives nice definition and reduces frizz, especially on wash day, and it leaves curls feeling soft instead of crunchy. For finer or 2C–3A curls it works perfectly as a base cream. If you have thicker 3A/3B curls (like me), you’ll probably want to layer a gel on top because the cream alone doesn’t give long-lasting hold.No flakes, no residue, no product build-up so far.
