Zoom!...UP/DOWN in 30 seconds. *by K***O on Reviewed in the United States on August 9, 2014* On my last camping trip, I purchased a Matter of Time travel toilet thinking it would help avoid the stinky public latrines. The only crack in my ingenious plan was lack of privacy. This time around, I decided to purchase a privacy shelter. I read reviews about this products and others, and discovered the range of public opinions on privacy shelters, swung between poor quality to the difficulties of re-closure. Ultimately, I settled on this product, but not without hesitation. I must have clicked the buy and cancel buttons three to four times, for the simple reason, the issue of collapsing it back down. I went on Youtube and watched several videos and reviews. In the end, I clicked the buy button and walked away.Having "Prime" membership, the tent arrived on time, despite getting several emails from Amazon that it would be delayed. (Don't know why?) But once I received it, I popped it open and with quickness of ease, setup the whole tent in 30 seconds. I examined the tent, zipped and unzipped, climbed inside, and squat down Asian style to get a feel.Now for the dreaded repacking. I must admit, I had succumbed to a tiny pinch of anxiety initially. I skipped reading the accompanying instructions, looked length and confusing, and followed the videos demonstrations I saw on YouTube. To my surprise, I managed to close it down super fast and easy in 30 seconds. With several additional practices of opening and refolding, I am confident the many comments about difficulties are overstated.I do have reservations regarding this product. First, why are there connecting rope lines on the floor of the shelter? I don't believe they provide any structural support for the tent. I even contemplated cutting them off. However, I noticed there were several pouches included that you could add sand too for what I assume is the purpose to hold the tent down in windy conditions. Second, off course the tent stakes, no matter how cheap or expensive camping equipments are, the tent stakes are always your classic garbage that just adds to landfills. Without a second thought, I invested in getting some MSR mini tent stakes to replace the original package ones. Third, this is a privacy shelter, not for shower, there are no openings on top for insert or hang portable showering equipment. Fourth, if you are 6 feet or taller, it will be cramped standing inside. Not a lot of room above and with a travel toilet, not a lot of room to maneuver at the bottom.Overall I still recommend this product. Super fast to open and close, provide much needed privacy for nature's calls at campgrounds. In fact the carrying bag that comes with is big enough to hold both the privacy tent and my 20 gallons pop up trashcan I purchased from amazon. Fits compact for travel. I was looking for a simple, easy to use, easy to assemble tent for camping/concerts and perhaps the occasional back-yard event.Setup doesn't get any easier than this tent. Simply pull it out of the perfectly sized pouch (about the circumference of a 50 gallon barrel), and literally toss it into the air. The tent expands open (no polls to deal with!), and all you need to do is pull the unit apart to make it 3 dimensional.Collapsing the unit can be a bit tricky as already mentioned, but with a little practice it can be done quickly.The downsides of the tent are the height: I feel like if it were a little taller, it wouldn't be as claustrophobic inside (it's not terrible, but it seems a bit tight... and I'm only 5'9"). The door is a little on the small side as well... And it'd be nice if it had some sort of privacy flap for the vents at the top (Nothing like looking at people nearby as you're emptying your bladder).Durability remains to be seen: It feels like it'll do the trick for occasional duty, but I don't see the fabric and frame lasting all too long. But for this price point, I think I'll get my money's worth!Overall, the Tent is a great value, and hit most of my needs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works beautifully *by L***A on Reviewed in the United States on June 21, 2019* First of all, keep the folding instructions (lol). It's sooo easy to remove from the bag and set up, but if you don't have the feel of how to get it back into the bag - it's easy to bend the spines. We got it the first time, but before leaving the beach we had to google how to fold it again. The utility tent is made well enough to hold up in 30 mph winds over an entire weekend. I think we did get a little rip in the fabric, but we can still get a lot more use out of this. The top would bend over, but we never had to chase it down the beach thanks to the spikes and bags (included) that we filled with sand.
