They were actually large enough to fit 4 passports along with yen notes and change and my U.S. driver's license and a couple of credit cards in just one (although that put it pretty much at capacity). I liked being able to keep my important documents and money close to my body at all times as a precaution against theft. It also made it easy to retrieve important documents such as our boarding passes and passports at the airport without having to dig through my purse, which is such a pain.I ordered one vegan leather (brown) and one black cloth passport holder (one for my husband and one for myself, different colors to easily distinguish whose was whose), and I would have to say that the vegan leather/brown one was much more attractive/expensive-looking than the black one, although I am not sure which will be more durable in the long run.
