    Exmortus - real metal for the 21st century!

Exmortus are one of those bands that are talented and original and deserve much more support from the metal community. Having experienced these guys in the live setting, I know they are the real deal. If you are a fan of old-school thrash (bay area), Tampa detail metal or traditional NMWOAHM, you should get this. Every tune has delicious rhythms, crystal-clear solos and pounding drums. It is only a matter of time before these guys get discovered and you all realize " I was there at the beginning". Although I discovered fairly recently, I know they will be scooped-up by some major artist soon (I grew up in the bay area thrash scene).Trust me...you will like these guys! \m/

アメリカのメロディック・スラッシュメタルバンド、エクスモータスの2011年作前作はまあまあという程度の出来であったが、今作はなにやらドラマティックなイントロからして違う。オールドなギターリフで疾走するアナログ的な古き良きメタル感覚にますます磨きがかかり、随所にメロディを効かせたギターフレーズとともに、まるでArtilleryばりのヨーロピアンなスラッシュサウンドだ。一連のNWOTHM系バンドのような80年代正統派の質感も多分にあって、オールドファンもにんまり。前作にはあまりなかった緩急を使った展開や、ドラマティックな世界観もGoodな力作です。
