I replaced it, but it still wasn't working, which led me to having to replace the control board. After reading countless reviews on different controllers on Amazon, I settled on this one. GOOD CALL! The wiring is a direct match to the wires inside the Pit Boss, so swapping them out literally took seconds. the entire process including replacing the probe and induction fan motor and putting everything back together took me no longer than 30 minutes with nothing more than a screwdriver and scissors to cut off the new zip tie tag ends. Great easy replacement and for now everything seems to work as it should. I'll update if there's any negatives or issues after I take it for a test run this weekend. For now couldn't be happier I got my sickly smoker up and running again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reliable *by M***K on Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2020* I went from shut downs during critical cook times to perfect operation in 30 minutes. Temperature reading was spot on with the thermometer on top the grill at first, then slowly the have started to no longer match up.
