Each capsule has a foil lid so they are double-sealed for freshness. I haven't worried at all about the dates. I haven't bought any packs for at least a couple of months though so I have just looked in my store cupboard and the last ones I bought have a best before date of 05 05 2024. Of course it depends on how many pods you use but I think the dates are fine. **Q: Which milk pods do you use; if you use the regular Tassimo milk pods it is too much for a regular mug or do I just need a bigger mug?** A: I haven't actually used Tassimo milk pods after the first few as I thought that the coffee tasted of 'plastic milk' but perhaps they've improved now. I heat fresh, skimmed milk in a frother or in the microwave. The lighter weight skimmed milk froths well. In terms of quantity, that depends on which Tassimo Coffee pods you use.
