I was skeptical because it seems to apply kind of dry, like there was not enough product on the applicator compared to most liquid lipsticks. I wondered if I got a dried-out product. But no, that's just the way it is. It takes a few dips to really get good coverage. But when you do...! It's so beautiful. The color is VIBRANT and pops, the product pics are accurate. I've been looking for a shiny purple lipstick that really screams, and this is the one. I put all lipsticks through the same test, which is applying them before an intensive hour of heavy aerobics. This tests their waterproofness as well as their tendency to dry lips. I lick my lips a lot when I work out, and any lipstick that dries the lips as all ends up chapping me. Well, this one passed with flying colors. At the end of the workout, my lips did not feel dry, and the shine was still there, the color still vibrant almost as if it had just been applied.I am in love with this product.
