**Q: How do you shorten/cut them?**
A: I like using a battery operated Dremel® tool with a cut off wheel. Fast & easy without dragging out a large saw, or other tools. I've even used the Dremel to reshape some pieces for a custom installation. But, if you don't have one, a small hand operated hobby saw is also a good way to cut it. Any hobby shop, or right here on Amazon.

**Q: How many hiders come in the pack? I have to replace 7 of them**
A: There are 3-15.7 inch hiders which is about a total of aboutl 47 inches....likei it says in the description.

**Q: What is the largest size romex cable you can put in these? 12, 12, 10?**
A: I’m not sure on romex cable circumference, but I am familiar with cable gauge. I’m currently using two 2 gauge cables.

**Q: Possible to fit an extension cord? The cord I'll be running through won't be long enough, so this will need to fit an extension cord about half way**
A: Probably not, unless you find a special extension cord with a slim end; not too wide.  Or get a longer cord; which I did.

This wire hiding system is nice and big enough to hide three cables easily I put a HDMI, a power cable and a network cable in with no problems. The package does not include and connecting pieces to attach the three strips together, when I went back to look, it was just the three strips advertised. It holds firmly to the wall, and looks fine. I have discovered that the cover to the strip is a bit easy to come off and just moving the wires can pop the cover off.
