Has pockets for soap stones or whatever on each sleeve and a larger pocket on the lower left side. 2 position straps with snaps on the sides to tighten the fit up if needed. Leather is just slightly thinner than the worn out Tillman I have. Bought an XL and it fits comfortably over a T-shirt. Thicker or multiple undershirts and I would probably go 1 size up. Slid under the car and ran a few beads. Comfortable for me and protection is excellent. I am a large size and it fits perfectly. I am a 34" arm length and I think it would be fine for a 35" arm length as well. The fasteners are substantial and it fastens high in front of the neck. it is a bit heavy so it is ideal in a cool climate but might be a little warm in a warmer climate. Depending on your welding environment you may want a lighter jacket if it is warm. Otherwise...this is an excellent jacket and value.
