This watch is still a bit of a mystery to me, and I've already had to replace the strap loop. The Komandirskie SU-35 Flanker Fighter Commander Russian Air Force Military Mechanical Wrist Watch is definitely unique. The 40mm chrome-coated case and leather band give it a classic look. The Russian VOSTOK 2414A mechanical movement is interesting, and the 36-hour power reserve is decent. The luminous hands and markers are helpful, and the bi-directional bezel adds a nice touch. While I've had a minor issue with the strap, I appreciate the water resistance and the overall design. It's a conversation starter, for sure.This review represents my personal opinion and experience with this product. I got the leather band version and the band is nice and well made, though I am replacing it with another black band with red stitching just because I have a spare 18mm band I like a bit better (and the red makes the watch pop a tad more). The face has an SU-30 Flanker that looks sharp, and the watch wears like a 40mm, so it's an excellent size. Lume is nothing spectacular, but it works well enough that I'm not complaining. Please note, if you aren't familiar with Russian watches go online to see winding instructions- it needs to be done a certain way and CAN be overwound if you don't follow the (very simple) steps. There is no date hack, so you will have to manually set the date, but the process doesn't take terribly long. All in all, if you like watches, like modern fighters, and want something your friends likely don't have, this is an excellent and inexpensive choice! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tired of looking at you phone for the time, get a beautifully designed watch. *by A***R on February 21, 2024* I have a gold Vostok watch thats working perfectly but wanted a silver colored one as well. These watches are very well made and reliable, excellent quality. For a comparable watch from other sources you’d expect to pay at least twice the price.
