Corners hold down well with no need for poles, and the pole area material helps to. Had my old school Cal King waterbed since 1987. The 12" deep pockets fit my 10" thick mattress. Will order more. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These are very good quality *by S***T on November 29, 2023* This sheet set is probably the highest quality waterbed sheets I’ve ever owned. The pockets that go under the mattress corners are made from the same quality material as the sheets themselves, not a cheap material that easily rips. They’re also visually attractive. They’re a literal rough at first, but it’s my understanding that the more Egyptian cotton sheets are washed, the softer they become, and I’m happy with the feel after a couple months. The only thing I don’t like about them is the top sheet is so big that it can become overwhelming when I’m sleeping.
