Not so. Its nice and water proof, but the durability is a joke. Nobody buys waxed cotton for dress, so yes, I wore it to work for 3 days- Im a construction worker. I'm the boss and worked inside so it wasn't abused. Raised my arm and heard a rip. Reached down and pulled at the coat and the whole side opened up.
