This cover allows you to fill the bottle first and then put it in the cover, which is helpful in case of spills during filling where you can wipe off the water bottle instead of having a wet cover. I had a cover similar to this when I was a child and had to look quite a bit to find the non tight neck type of cover. This one fits the bill! I also like that it is very soft. It really is made out of the soft fluffy "Sherpa" type material. I was afraid Sherpa was the brand but it is the fabric too.
