At first I was a bit skeptical because it just seemed too lightweight of plastic and the band didn't seem super reliable or sturdy, but man was I wrong. I bought this to hold my phone on my motorcycle so I could use navigation and see who was calling me over my Bluetooth system on my helmet or change my music.Mind you, my motorcycle sits outside so this mount was exposed to the elements since I have had it ( about 10 months now). As fate would have it, I ended up sliding my motorcycle down the road at about 45 mph due another drivers error. I remember as I was going down I could still hear the song I was listening to playing from the moment I went down to the moment I pulled my helmet off. My phone was still solidly attached to the mount without a single scratch on it.
