Review: You'll get a very good lawn if you prepare well and are patient - I've waited a while to write this because of the cool spring which has held back germination more than a little. But patience has its rewards and I now have good results and am happy to report back. The seed mix is designed for a top quality domestic lawn, the cultivars are fine leaved and will make a lovely lawn, but they aren't the fastest to germinate and require decent preparation for a good 'take'. You must prepare the soil well, sow the seed and rake it in, then lightly consolidate by foot or roll (if you have a roller) and water well. Keep the soil moist, water daily, don't let the seed bed dry out or the seed can go dormant! And remember germination won't happen if the soil temperature is below about 12 degrees centigrade, and very slowly if its not much warmer! So time your actions accordingly.

**Q: How long does it take for seeds to grow?**
A: I bought two bags of this as I had over 1,100 square meters to cover. I found that as long as the seed is covered with a fine layer of soil, kept damp to touch and in moderately mild / warm conditions (i.e. t shirt weather) you have an established lawn in 6 to 8 weeks. My neighbours were skeptical on whether this would work and on such a large area (I have to admit I was too but I thought it's worth a try) as they had never had any success sewing a lawn from seed ever before (I must point out they have never to my knowledge used any products from this supplier). After 6 to 8 weeks I had a beautiful thick and lush lawn, so much so, I will be ordering another 6 bags in the summer. My neighbour was blown away as was I. Excellent product, excellent customer service !

**Q: How soon can I walk on lawn after germination?**
A: Depends on the growth - how often you water. We watered every day during sunny days and it took a good few months before we could step on it propertly. The grass is sweet , light and beautiful - at least that’s how it looked for us.

This grass worked well for me, as per the instructions I watered it daily for the first week or so and after a few weeks it appeared. Its a few months later now and the lawn looks like its always been there. The grass is noticeably finer than normal and looks great :-)
