This pitcher is glass and that is why I switched from a plastic pitcher to this one. Glass is also better for the environment. **Q: where is this made?** A: I believe it’s China. The glass has no markings but the stainless steel lid has “304 Food Grade” words in Chinese. **Q: I have had only a couple of weeks and the lid is now falling off every time I pour. Is there anything can do?** A: I always take my lid off to pour because of it not fitting snugly. Still love the pitcher. **Q: Does anyone know any silicone sleeve with a fitted size can be bought to protect the glass?** A: I'm not aware of any silicon sleeve for it.
