Review: All around excellent, with one small drawback - This knife is excellent, and totally worth the cost. It has become my favorites EDC knife very quickly. The blade came sharp and has held an edge, the sheath has good retention, and the ferro rod throws nice heavy sparks. I have not yet tried out the sharpener, but I’ve not doubt it’ll work nicely, judging by everything else. Also, the size is nice. I’ve got big hands, and the handle still protrudes out the opposite side as the blade a bit, allowing me to strike with it if needed. The one down side is that both clips the knife comes with are made for Molly, not belts. But they hold very nicely to fabric, on a pocket, for example. They still get 5 stars though, because you can buy a belt or pocket clip on the manufacturer’s website for just $5. Solid blade. I’d recommend this knife to anyone!
Review: My new EDC - I wanted a small fixed blade for an EDC. This fits the bill. The blade is sharp. Holds a decent edge. It feels good in my hands. Sheath is well made, the clip is holding up well even if it's not the standard style. I clip and unclip it multiple times a day and haven't noticed any issues.

- COMBUSTION: Throw generous sparks by striking the 90-degree spine against the hex-shaped, threaded ferrocerium rod integrated into the sheath.
- SIGNAL: 115b safety whistle is attached to the butt of the knife on a reflective mini lanyard strung through the hex driver.
- SHARPEN: Rockwell hardness HRC58-60 holds a sharp edge that can be honed anytime with the sheaths built in Ceramic V notch.
- DRIVE: Tighten or replace the threaded 1/4” hex ferro rod using the built-in driver. The sheath is fully threaded so the ferro rod can be inserted backward, providing additional purchase/grip in holding the sheath and striking the knife's spine against the ferro rod.
- CARRY OPTIONS: Multiple carry options make Scout Feather secure and accessible. The form-fitted, secure-lock sheath features a heavy-duty clip, specifically designed to fit 3/4" webbing (common size of sternum straps on backpacks). MOLLE compatible. Or wear Scout Feather as a neck knife by threading the cordage of your choice through the two larger sheath rivets. Scout Feather is lightweight (2.3 oz unsheathed, 4.0 oz sheathed) and easy to carry.

This knife is excellent, and totally worth the cost. It has become my favorites EDC knife very quickly. The blade came sharp and has held an edge, the sheath has good retention, and the ferro rod throws nice heavy sparks. I have not yet tried out the sharpener, but I’ve not doubt it’ll work nicely, judging by everything else. Also, the size is nice. I’ve got big hands, and the handle still protrudes out the opposite side as the blade a bit, allowing me to strike with it if needed. The one down side is that both clips the knife comes with are made for Molly, not belts. But they hold very nicely to fabric, on a pocket, for example. Saw a review on this by Grim Granite on Youtube and gave it a shot. This is an outstanding little blade! Out of the box, the blade has a good edge and the integrated sharpener is good for those field touch-ups. For a small knife, it has a good grip even for larger hands while being easily held and controlled by smaller hands. It is incredibly light, but with the full tang design, you can hammer on it through small wood without breaking the thing. The integrated ferro rod is easy to use and gives off nice fat sparks. As a lightweight survival tool, I love this thing and we have added several to camping and travel kits.
