To my surprise (I'm a sceptic), it does exactly what it claims. ie It expands to three times its length when full of water. It even reaches the end of my150 foot garden. The brass fittings are top class and do not leak. They look smart too.I would thoroughly recommend this hose. I am pleased that I bought it.One word of advice: after turning off the tap, carry on watering until the hose is empty. Otherwise, when you disconnect the hose from the tap you will get a cold and wet surprise. You'll get soaked. I did! This is cheaper, easier and less obtrusive though my wife has indicated that the fireman and reel were more to her liking. Had to point out that they don’t necessarily come together and she is reluctantly happy with this.
