Thanks** A: Hi there, To answer your question, it is best kept in a jar in a cupboard. I only ordered this because of the lock down. I usually get it from a Turkish Food Centre (TFC) or from a Continental food store where it is cheaper but the same quality. In Turkish it is called pul biber or the hot one, aci pul biber. I hope this has helped. **Q: Can I freeze it to keep it fresh? I would decant a small amount** A: It comes in a light-proof sealable bag (not like the picture) so it stays fresh pretty well anyway. But I imagine it would be fine to freeze. **Q: Are these mild or hot ?** A: I would say they're mild to medium. They are incredibly pretty, and I tend to sprinkle over a burrata, into pasta or as a pretty garnish on say a bowl of hummus.
