The popcorn pops up huge and fluffy. Not all kernels pop into that desired mushroom shape but most do. A batch is devoured so quickly, no one even notices. I pop 1/2 cup at a time in my stove top Whirley Pop on medium-high heat an only get about 1 to 8 un-popped kernels per batch. I think the higher temp helps to fully pop and achieve the mushroom shape. The kernels are great quality. I've made like 15 batches so far and have only seen 1 kernel that was cracked and I threw out. Tastes great and fresh. My first purchase was a 32 oz./2lbs. It was gone within 10 days and I had to come back to order this 8lbs. bag, which is a way better value by the way. This popcorn is perfect for making our homemade kettle corn!
