It is not chewy; therefore, you have to be careful not to eat the whole bag all at once.

For anyone who is unaware Tillamook is located right here in the states. The company is in Oregon and it is truly good to know where my food or should I say jerky is coming from. Excellent flavor and texture. Other brands can be really tough, but not this one. Because the moisture content is high, consume within a few weeks as I have had more than one bag get moldy.
