I bought a Fujifilm x100t in 2016, and while it had a steep learning curve for me (coming from Canon) the grip was the biggest issue. I was afraid to use it because I just couldn't get a good grip on it without a wrist strap for a "just in case" drop, it took too long, but I wanted to see if a thumb grip would help with this, but I did not want to spend the $60 for the Lensmate one without knowing if this would help. Let me say, IT DOES. This improved the usability of this camera 100% for me. I do wish it was a bit longer, but for the price, I really can't complain.For $6 (at the time of writing this) the finish is not flawless, but there are also no sharp edges. A hex-key is included to tighten the grip down to the hot shoe, and even when I tried to loosen the grip by moving it, it would not budge. It does not cover any buttons or the dial, but the shutter speed selector is a bit harder to get to.For $6 it is worth at least trying to see if it will help with your camera. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ works as expected, just alittle higher than i expected. *by W***S on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on May 14, 2014* clear and simple, it works and functions great... i googled pictures of what a "thumb grip" actually is and then saw some pics of it on other cameras and got a good idea how it should look like, and what it does.it works as it should and gives good stability to the camera and easier to hold.the only problem I had with it was that it was alittle higher than I expected to be.. I thought it would curve down more or atleast be lower (the thumb part).. as we speak, it is on my camera and it is kinda in the way of the dial that has the different settings (A, S, M, P, movie mode etc.).. not REALLY a big deal b/c i can still manage to turn the dial (there is enough clearance under the thumb grip so you can place your thumb partially on the dial and your index around to turn the dial)HOWEVER, the fact that this whole thumb grip... looks like a old school film lever from the old retro film cameras is a big plus and actually it being higher than I expected gives off that illusion even more.so for that i only give it 4.. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Well made but the fit depends on your camera's layout. *by A***B on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on September 18, 2016* I purchased this for a Canon EOS M1. It fits great and looks good, but when you put your thumb completely in the indentation your thumb will probably hit the touch screen and turn something on or off by accident. Therefore to keep this from happening you have to put your thumb on the tip of the handle rather in the indentation...i.e. it is too short. Also the handle sits just about over the power switch making it a little hard to turn the camera on and off, as you have to stick you finger down into the space between the handle and switch. Unless you need to do quick on/off's this shouldn't be an issue. You could set the whole arm out a little and this would help with the switch. A half inch longer would have been great.
