When going back into a program/game, there is about a 4 second delay then a slight pause before it fully switches (I usually move the cursor around so I can see it stop when it switches, since the pause may make me misclick what I'm doing otherwise). Occasionally it won't switch (generally when I alt+tab in/out of the program), but I can just alt+tab out and back to get it working most of the time.
