The dough comes out so easy and just the right size. It also works very well for the filling inside of eclairs!! and so cute! the french tip design is so much prettier than the open or closed star tips and they are usually just to small and you squeeze your fingers to the bone trying to get any kind of dough through the smaller star tips. I love this tip for making the eclairs themselves , the design is just wonderful. This is a very large tip opening so you wouldn't use it for little small things for sure, but is is the perfect size for mashed potatoes,and even filling deviled eggs.
