Rhino Hobby Filters are available in 4-10 inch options and have a 9-12 month lifespan. After 6 months turn the filter around to extend the filter life for another 6 months. Its bigger in diameter than I was anticipating but thankfully fits in my small cupboard. It would’ve been nice to know its diameter which is about 200mm. As soon as i fit it all the smell disappeared from the extracted air. From user reviews across the internet, the Hobby series aren’t up to constant use. The Pro not only has a higher flow rate but also last longer and can be flipped. So far so good. We’ll see in 12 months. Edit: 12 months in of constant use it started to leak a little. You can always smell something coming through. These rhino filters though, this is the first time ive used them and am absolutally happy that i decided to spend a little more on my filter. I cant smell anything what so ever, i draw air in through and extract into my kitchen. Even if i leave the kitchen door closed all day, when walking in there you cant smell anything at all. If u get the small ones, (300mm), as stated before by someone smart "remember to replace every 6-8 months I would say. I bought a large one a while back(600mm) I think, and it lasted around 2 years. So spending a bit more gets u a lot more. Good filter, but as always, be diligent!
