Initial impressions was that the case felt nice in the hand: smooth and no rough edges. I was pleasantly surprise by the vents on the bottom of the case NOT being sharp which is great! It feels nice and easy to take off for cleaning if needed. The past two keyboard covers I purchased did not cover the entire keyboard and they had a habit of slipping around while I was typing. This one covers the entire keyboard including the ones on top and does not move at all. It also has a pleasant touch. I chose this coloraturas partly because the keyboard cover was completely clear so I could see the lighted keyboard at night, but the great texture and complete coverage is a very nice surprise! I am very careful with my computer, so if this falls apart in a couple of months I will update this, but so far it is perfect. It could have easily been broken if we didn’t have it sent directly to an Amazon Pickup Point. It wasn’t put in a box nor in bubble wrap and that’s on Amazon. Hopefully, the vendor will see this and contact Amazon because I can’t seem to find how to do that on my device. Anyway… The item is sturdy. Not too stiff and not too flimsy. It fit perfect on our “old” MacBook. The Keyboard Overlay was awesome too. Wish we would have done that years ago to keep out dust. Even though we cleaned it regularly, it still would get dusty. Highly recommend trying this out. Hopefully, this item will last.
