Although expensive there are others out there more expensive and soft tops. As far as I can see in my long research to find the right carrier this is the only one that is a hard case. It is easy to fit to a luggage rack it’s just the same as if you were attaching a back box. It can be placed with the dog looking backwards or forward. My dog prefers forward. He freaked a bit when he was facing away from me but when I turned it he was fine. He is a miniature toy poodle and does like to keep me close by. The nice thing is when you park up somewhere you can leave the helmet etc in the box whilst you and your dog go off to have some fun. It comes with two keys to lock the box also straps if you prefer to attach it to your back seat. This carrier is going to change my summer as me and Puppy have a summer to remember.
