Specifically, the manual for setting the watch says you have to fudge the time zone to correct for daylight savings. So it's a semi-automatic radio controlled movement at best. It also has about a half dozen settings exceptions that have to be corrected before radio control works at all. If you don't get everything tweaked just right you will think the watch is defective.
