Since 1886, their closely guarded family recipes have served as the basis for cookies that have won multiple international gold medals and even been served to the Belgian royal family. Try their diverse selection at your next party or simply keep them for yourself!

Review: What can I say, these little numbers are so mouth-wateringly delectable that they make me think of bacon—like they are the sweet version of bacon. I don’t say that lightly my friends. If you knew me you would know I take a backseat to no man or four-legged beast in my appreciation for bacon and my everquest to find different foods to put on it. Well just switch out the salt and fat for sugar vanilla and you have the bacon of the confectionery world. Seriously I would use two of these as a bun for my hamburger. I like rubbing them on my face, and am considering naming my firstborn Jules and my second-born Destrooper Not only could I inhale twelve boxes of these like Cookie Monster on crack after a month on hunger strike for Norn Aran—num num num num num num—But I could live on them permanently, as like the only thing in my diet—I’d even make a delicious shake out of these cookies and water with the help of a blender. Their trick is that their flavor is subtle, confected of simple ingredients, not overpowering, a gentle scent carried on the breeze as if from the warm wafting of cookie haze billowing slowly around grandma’s oven—we’re not talking Nerds half-dissolved din tamarind and habanero sauce here. Oh and the package: another exercise in class and restraint, the traditional old-time goodness of that deep blue-on-white laid out in neat rectilinear patterns, with gold lettering sprinkled about to let you know that you walk among the gods here, and no ordinary lettering, nothing short of solid gold brilliance, will be accepted—ah, but then, the Pièce de Résistance, the tiny tricolor of Belgium, yellow, red, and black—concentrated like a burst of flavor hiding in plain sight which knocks you off your sun-dappled cloudmobile lazing through the glorious light of the heavens and gently reunites you with the mundane world that you exist in between the times you eat these cookies. The only problem is that there aren’t enough cookie-wafers in the standard 12 box order to sate my mouth’s lust for these griddled, crystalline flavor explosion discs. Or it’s like the technicolor world of Molly Ringwald giving way to profound boredom with the drab dullness of IRL once the music’s gone. Or how nothing compares to your first love, or your first experience of the infinite and better living through chemistry—here, a time-tested recipe of perfect simplicity—the ambrosia and nectar of the gods wrapped into one thin cookie calling your name in a whisper, “eat me, eat me, boys, make your lives extraordinary!” If I was shipwrecked on a deserted tropical island and could only bring one book with me, it would be these cookies. They are just so gosh darn good that when I start eating them I cannot stop, and along the way the forms and content of reality start to dissolve before my eyes, the lineaments of boundaries between myself and the outside world dissolve, and I become One With The Cookie.
Review: These cookies are amazing. First tried them in Belgium, visiting a friend, and wanted more. desertcart to the rescue. They are great alone or with coffee. I could go through this box in a week easily. lol. I have a sweet tooth. The flavor is light a buttery. So delicious, I want to buy another box while writing this review. Get them if you haven't tried them yet. You will not be disappointed.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: would this be good with a cannoli dip?**
A: Oh yes. With whipped cream also or any other creme you may wish to make.

**Q: How many crisps in a box?**
A: Its been a while since I had my cookies but I'd say at least 16. Half are in one stack and the other half on the other side. These are excellent cookies, I dip mine in melted Ghiradelli dark chocolate chips or on some holidays I frost them. They stay fresh forever!

**Q: What is the Expiry date on this product?**
A: Seeing that the factory makes waffles seven days a week, sixteen hours a day, the expiration date varies. Amazon always has freshest as they use special transportation vehicles that are quicker, called "Wafflelons" and they are special.

**Q: Seller pl. answer - what is the earliest expiration/best use date/ or whatever the date on the package is called?**
A: Hi thank you for having the time to check our store. Then the expiration date for this item is on August 2023. Thank you!
