**Q: What is the range in American not metric?**
A: For the size of the hook it works best for 3/8th ace tubing and under . Ideal for process stubs

**Q: Can the tube be re-opened after being pinched off?**
A: It can be reopened but you need to braze/solder the end closed. We use it on small refrigeration decks to pinch off the process tube, then we seal them by brazing. Once sealed we remove the tool to reuse.

I don’t leave reviews. Normally but I’ve always liked this style pinch form factories. So I decided to buy it. Today I gave it a shot. Tightened there was still refrigerant passing thru. I had to seriously torque it. As I’m sealing the end of the port was spitting the refrigerant out thru needle size hole. Had to use my old reliable pinch of clamp. So low side ok high side not. I wouldn let recommend it but maybe you are luckier than me. Pretty and clean pinch but that’s about it doesn’t seal the high side
