Although the ingredients are not completely specified, unlike the drops which list a preservative most of the contents of the gel are 980 milligrams of honey per gram of product. And the precautions say " do not use if you are hypersensitive to bee products or food gums". So I infer that the other 20 milligrams are food gums. Hope that helps.
