Would this leather be suitable for a project like this** A: I wouldnt recommend leather for a director's chair. It is very thick, doesn't fold well, and would stretch over time. If you were to want to put a design into one I would recommend getting canvas embroidered. Condition of the leather was fair, no major defects. Kind of stiff for 8-9 oz. 3. The leather was size-stamped on the flesh side as 5 square feet, which was about right if you include the unusable parts around the edges. 4. Uneven cut: looked like it came off a 2-headed cow (brahmin) from Bethesda's Fallout 4. There was about four square feet of useable leather, enough to cut 2 holsters (1 modern, 1 'old west') out of with some key fobs or conchos left over.
