The ebay straps ship from China. The cheapest ive seen on ebay is $17 + shipping. I personally think its worth forking over an extra $5 for 2 day shipping and amazon guarantee. **Q: One reviewer says this strap will affect the watch's compass because the screws are ferrous/magnetic, is that true?** A: I have tested the watch compass and find it is off by 18 to 20 degrees. Holding a magnet across the screws (2 on each side) verified they are magnetic. The rest of the metal is not magnet ie no attraction to the magnet. removing the straps from the watch and holding the part that attaches to the watch, you can see it effect the compass.
