## Description

Showcasing the classic lines of this piano lamp and cut from the highest quality solid brass and other metal material, the GPLED19D piano lamp has a black finish that features brass accents and comes with a matte powder-coated finish. Cocoweb LED piano lighting technology makes the GPLED19D a class of its own, unmatched by any other similar lights on the market. Cocoweb LED technology gives piano lighting a leap in energy efficiency and provides lighting color that resembles natural sunlight. The LED lighting array is pre-installed and included in with GPLED19D. These LED light bulbs consume less than half the electricity of traditional light bulbs, while providing ample illumination. The powder coating ensures a lifetime of use, free from scratching and marring. Cocoweb GPLED19D provides an LED light source of more than 15 inch long. Most piano books are about 15 inch -16 inch when open to play. The light also has a color temperature of 2700K that resembles natural sunlight which relieves strain on the eyes. Each Cocoweb piano lamp is rolled, polished, buffed, sprayed and inspected for maximum quality. The GPLED19D features an elegant black finish with brass accents. There is no need for a replacement of these LED light bulbs for 50,000 hours! usually, this means 20 years of use without replacing the light bulbs (bars).

Review: Beautiful appearance and tremendous illumination - Bought this fixture to replace an old fluorescent one which was not really doing the job on the church piano. The Cocoweb unit is much brighter and the included dimmer control allows you to adjust the amount of light to whatever level you desire. The fixture has a clean, stylish look which complements the baby grand piano, yet it's slim size almost makes it seem to disappear when turned off. The only thing I didn't like was the foam tape provided to secure the dimmer in place. Totally unsuitable by my standards. Instead, I machined a block of aluminum to hold the dimmer and attached it to the rear of the clamping bracket (see pics #1-3). This provided a centered mounting and still allowed easy adjustment of the dimmer when necessary. Be aware that there is an error in the description about the thickness range of the music rest which can be accommodated by the clamp of this fixture. It is capable of attaching on 3/8" up to 9/16", but not any thicker, unless you remove the padded pressure plate from inside the clamp. I don't recommend doing that, because the thumbscrews could mar the rear of the music rest when they are tightened, without the padded plate in place. All in all, it's a great light fixture, although I think it's priced a bit higher than necessary. However, I was unable to find anything else that was comparable at a lower cost, so the choice was pretty simple.
Review: Wonderful choice for grand piano light! - The light is well made, easy to assemble, easy to attach to the piano’s music stand and has a nice long cord. It is bright enough to see your music clearly in an otherwise dark room. The light bar adjusts smoothly so you can have it exactly where you want the light to shine (on the music and not in your eyes). The dimmer switch uses a real potentiometer and is self contained with its own input and output. I don’t plan to use it but it is a nice option to have and I appreciate that I don’t have to have it attached at all. The whole thing is unobtrusive and well designed. There is no way that it will mar your piano either.

**Q: adapter failed. where can i purchase another?**
A: This is a nicely designed and built, though expensive, lamp.  Its power requirements are 24 volts at 2 amperes.  Suck an adapter can very easily be bought or built. **Q: Will this light clip on a metal music stand, like Mighty Bright.   In the picture it looks like only for a grand piano.**
A: It will work with a metal music stand only if you put In something like a drink coaster in the clamp portion so what it is clamping is more like a grand piano music rack thickness

**Q: What is the distance between the top of the mounting clip and the light bulb?**
A: 2 1/2 inches.  The height is fine for most music, however for some of the higher sheet music the bulb interferes when changes pages.

Bought this fixture to replace an old fluorescent one which was not really doing the job on the church piano. The Cocoweb unit is much brighter and the included dimmer control allows you to adjust the amount of light to whatever level you desire. The fixture has a clean, stylish look which complements the baby grand piano, yet it's slim size almost makes it seem to disappear when turned off. The only thing I didn't like was the foam tape provided to secure the dimmer in place. Totally unsuitable by my standards. Instead, I machined a block of aluminum to hold the dimmer and attached it to the rear of the clamping bracket (see pics #1-3). This provided a centered mounting and still allowed easy adjustment of the dimmer when necessary. Be aware that there is an error in the description about the thickness range of the music rest which can be accommodated by the clamp of this fixture. The light is well made, easy to assemble, easy to attach to the piano’s music stand and has a nice long cord. It is bright enough to see your music clearly in an otherwise dark room. The light bar adjusts smoothly so you can have it exactly where you want the light to shine (on the music and not in your eyes). The dimmer switch uses a real potentiometer and is self contained with its own input and output. I don’t plan to use it but it is a nice option to have and I appreciate that I don’t have to have it attached at all. The whole thing is unobtrusive and well designed. The piano light is attractive on my grand piano. The light is bright and dimmable which is a nice feature. I like the switch on the light instead of on the cord. The width gives light to music with multiple pages. Nice quality and very functional
