The phone is beautiful and it works.Originally, I had the place where the receiver goes secured down (it is meant to be flexible so that when you place the receiver on the phone it then goes down). I had planned on returning the phone tomorrow but since I discovered subsequently that it works, will not return it. I have herewith updated my review to 4 stars from 1. The only reason I have not given it 5 stars is because there is no place on the phone to set the date, time or caller ID and the instructions are not sufficient for that part.
