The Koia Elite Chocolate sits in a pretty rare middle ground. First impression: it actually tastes like chocolate, not “protein chocolate.” It’s rich but not candy-sweet, and there’s no strong artificial aftertaste. I usually drink it straight from the fridge post-workout or as a quick breakfast when I’m on shift, and it goes down easily without feeling heavy. This is one of the most delicious protein drinks know to man. Koia has really nailed a combination of excellent flavour, superior nutritional profile, and quality ingredients. They use a minimal amount of real sugar (thank you) with monkfruit extract that creates a natural sweetness. Many other brands use no sugar and stevia which gives you an unpleasant aftertaste. Koia does this right, and I will be a loyal customer for life!
