The locking mecahanism was a bit stiff, but it became more user friendly after lubing the mechanism. Easily carried and transported thanks to the handle pocket clip. The blade - which is what most people focus on with knives - is an accepteable 3.9" long, and after light lubrication the flipper externsion opens the blade quite easily.
