From Large collumnar cacti like Cereus, Trichocereus, Saguaro and Organ pipes that can reach several meters in height at maturity to a variety of small (sometimes very sharp) species like Hedgehogs, Parodia and Mammilaria as well as Opuntia (Prickly Pear) with edible fruit. General cactus growing instructions that follow are also included with each package of seeds. CULTURE: Sow seeds indoors in trays or pots filled with appropriate cactus soil. Keep soil evenly moist but not soggy. Most cacti are happy growing in dense clumps when young and are easily separated for transplant. Press seeds in to soil surface and barely cover. Place in humidity dome or plastic bag in indirect sun until germination which may take up to 2 weeks.
