Unfortunately the light on mine doesn’t work- occasionally the light will turn on but shuts off right away but other times the light doesn’t come on at all. Since the original product/light I purchased did not work the company reached out to me to make things right by sending me a brand new light!! The new light works great and my kids absolutely love it!! I have added a new video to my review to show how the product/light works and updated the rating stars to 5! Besides being exceptionally cute, the LED light in the mouth of this turtle is very bright. Great for finding door locks at night or finding keys in the bottom of a handbag. Very well constructed from durable material. The turtle is rugged plastic, not brittle or flimsy at all. The clip on his tail is metal. And a neat design is that the tail is hinged, so the torque of swinging keys doesn't easily break the tail off in a short time. Even my real turtles turn their heads to look at it when I put it next to their enclosure. Great little item. I intend to buy more for a few birthdays coming up.
