It is easy to pull the bag out and tear it off with one hand. The bags smell faintly of baby powder, but it's not overpowering at all. The bags are thick enough. If you have a very large dog like my German Shepherd, this bag is only good for one big potty. But there is enough room to tie it up carefully.
