Can small particles block water flow.** A: Hi Nikola, Thank you for your interest in the Whole House Pre-Filtration System. Regarding this issue, the stainless steel filter used in our system does not need to be replaced, and we are developing other micron grades of replacement filters right now and we will inform you when we have launched the new product. Besides, we recommend that you open the flush valve for flushing every 2 weeks for about 10 minutes each time to extend the system service life and improve system filtration performance. If the water quality in your area is poor, it is recommended to rinse once a week, and each rinse time is no less than 10 minutes. Kind Regards, Mia Lauren Customer Service Rep **Q: my h20 is extremely irony. i replace my 10:-5 micron paper sediment once a month. is this the right filter for my purpose** A: Hi, A sediment filter is not intended to remove iron, I believe a whole house filter with the correct element and a water softener is more the answer to your problem. My understanding of a sediment filter is to trap particles that get past your pump screen to keep them out of your pressure tank and the rest of your water system. Hope this helps **Q: How does the back-washing function work?** A: Hi Giselle, Thank you for your interest in the Whole House Pre-Filtration System. The system is equipped with a flush valve, when customers turn on the valve, the internal waterways will flush the steel grid mesh backwards. If you have any other inquiries, please feel free to contact us at 1-888-352-3558 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST, Mon - Fri). Thank you. Kind Regards, Mia Lauren Customer Service Rep **Q: Can i install it at a 45 angle or Horizontal?** A: It does not matter at what angle you install it at since one side is in with pressure and the other is out wit negative pressure. YOU CAN PUT IT UPSIDE DOWN IF YOU WANT. Just be sure the in direction is right. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really good product *by on Reviewed in Canada December 24, 2024* I installed this on my water line after my pressure tank from my surface well to catch sediments. After a year of use, It still in good quality and work's well. You can see if sand is trap's in the bottom so you just open the drain valve and the spring push the separator down and clear the deposit.I fitted a hose in the bottom so the water flow directly to my drain. My plumber who worked on my house said it was well made and good quality ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sediment filter *by on Reviewed in the United States September 23, 2026* Great product, our plumber found easy to install.
