A: It appears so. It is NOT a snap on/off back. It does appear to be fully removable with the proper tool, mini star shaped tool.

This phone is massive. Can use it to make calls and texts in USA which is a lot harder to find than it should be when venturing outside of like four brands. Great if you want a neverending battery and aren't trying to run and entire server from your pocket.
