I usually file it way down then soak the remainder off. I use a combination of e-file and 150-180 boards, but it would be easy enough to do it all manually. **Q: Can you buy the clear in a bigger bottle?** A: I don’t think so. It is thick so be careful with the strokes. I find it better after applying on each finger nail, set each under the light as you go. Most recently I’ve been using poly gel to extend my nails. This time around, I really only needed an overlay. A friend suggested I find builder gel. I ordered this one and the next day I used it. WOW! So easy to use. The texture is like very thick gel polish. There’s a learning curve, but it’s easy to work with as long as you follow the instructions. It self levels, so it doesn’t end up streaky/with ridges. I got my bottle in the color clear and it is CRYSTAL CLEAR. I didn’t have any issues with bubbles. If i had just left the builder gel on, it would’ve looked nice on its own. Very shiny and neat. It hardens more than gel polish on its own which is perfect to protect and support my weak nails. There’s also very little smell.
